3 Enemies of Christ (Part 1)
Sermon Title: 3 Enemies of Christ (Part 1) Text: Acts 19:1-10 Preacher: Pastor Abutu Peter Joshua
Abutu Peter Joshua
Notes
The Three Enemies of Christ
1. Christianity Without the Holy Spirit
One of the greatest enemies of Christ is a form of Christianity that lacks the Holy Spirit. This type of faith is ineffective and does not lead to true transformation. The Holy Spirit is essential for understanding and living out the Gospel, as He empowers believers to live according to God's will and to bear fruit in their lives.
2. Counterfeit Christianity
Counterfeit Christianity presents a false version of faith that may appear genuine on the surface but lacks the true essence of a relationship with Christ. This includes teachings and practices that do not align with the truth of Scripture, leading believers astray and causing confusion about what it means to follow Christ.
3. Demonic Activity
Demonic activity is a significant enemy of Christ, working to undermine the truth of the Gospel and to lead people away from faith. This can manifest in various forms, including deception, temptation, and spiritual oppression, making it crucial for believers to be aware of these influences and to rely on the Holy Spirit for strength and discernment.
