What gets deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo
- Your sign-in credentials (password + any linked Google or Apple identities)
- Your personal messages, direct message rooms and voice notes
- Your device sessions, push notification tokens and notification preferences
- Your bookmarks, personal notes and playback history on sermons
What stays
- Records you created inside a church workspace (giving history, event registrations, form submissions) remain with that church for their own records and audit obligations.
- Your posts and messages in group chats remain visible to other members of that group, but appear as sent by a deleted user.
If you own a church workspace
If you are the current owner of one or more church workspaces on ChurchOrb, you cannot delete your personal account without first transferring ownership of those workspaces to another Church Admin, or deleting the workspaces entirely.
Sign in to the ChurchOrb app or the ChurchOrb dashboard for your church, go to Settings Danger zone, and use the “Transfer ownership” or “Delete workspace” flows before submitting this form.
How this works
- Submit the form on the right. Enter the email address you use to sign in to ChurchOrb.
- Check your email. If a matching account exists, we'll send a one-time confirmation link valid for 15 minutes.
- Click the link and confirm. Once you confirm, your personal data is removed immediately and every device is signed out.
If you cannot access your account
If you have lost access to the email address on your account or cannot receive the confirmation email, please contact us at privacy@churchorb.com and we'll help you complete the deletion manually.
For more information about the data we hold, how long we retain it and how it is protected, please read our Privacy Policy.
